ESG
Adrem Pärnu AS actively participates in industry and professional organizations, providing access to a broader network and resources. We are a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Estonian Machine Industry Association, and the Pärnumaa Business Home.”
In 2024, Adrem Pärnu AS conducted a green audit in collaboration with external experts from Tecnopol and RootLoop, aimed at increasing the company’s sustainability and optimizing production processes in line with the climate goals of the European Union and Estonia. The green audit focused on improving resource efficiency, implementing circular economy principles, and reducing environmental impact. As a result of the audit, a detailed roadmap for a sustainable company was created, outlining priority actions to be implemented from 2024 to 2026.
The audit concluded that innovation and circular design principles are highly valued within the company, and management decisions are driven by sustainability values. The company is continuously working on the conscious management of ESG risks. To ensure production efficiency and quality, Eziil production management software has been implemented. Circular economy principles are applied in waste management, and a product loop system is in place for standard product types. Metal waste is sorted for recycling based on a categorized collection system.
We sort the waste already during the production process, ie as soon as it is generated and place it in separate collection containers. We handle metal, industrial, household, cardboard and film waste separately. We recycle all scrap metal. Recycling of scrap metal saves about 70% of electricity, 40% of water consumption and reduces air pollution by 86% and water pollution by 76%. Each tonne of recycled steel saves 1,133 kg of iron ore, 630 kg of coal, 55 kg of limestone. We care about the environment around us, and we take part on global “Let’s do it!” cleanup days.
